MAPEI announced the opening of a regional distribution center in Mexico to serve floor-covering installers and concrete-restoration contractors.

The company, a manufacturer of adhesives, sealants, and other chemical products for building and construction, opened MAPEI de Mexico SA de CV, with headquarters in Santiago de Q按"确认"键ueretaro, Queretaro, Mexico.

Robert Ash Jr., a sales representative who has sold MAPEI products in the Latin American market for the past 13 years, was named sales director for Mexico.

The company said it will stock all of its product lines in Queretaro, with an emphasis on Concrete Restoration Systems and Underground Tunneling Technology products.
